In addition to my interest in quantitative finance (about which you can read more here), I am the founder and senior instructor of the Institute for Finance (www.instituteforfinance.com) where I teach courses on valuation, financial modeling, corporate finance and financial statement analysis. I am the author of the website IBankingFAQ (www.ibankingfaq.com), a website containing information about investment banking careers and the recruiting process. I am also a part-time Career Coach at Columbia Business School in New York where I mentor MBA students who are interested in pursuing a career (or at least a job) in investment banking.
Previously, I was an investment banker at the Vice President and Associate levels, working on M&A and Restructuring transactions. I have also participated in several entrepreneurial ventures and I began my professional career as a Research Assistant at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, DC. I have an undergraduate degree in economics and an MBA with a concentration in finance.
